The brain drain and dire state of education in North Africa. I became aware of how poor the education system in North Africa was when I started teaching here. It was not until I got involved with the African Leadership Academy that I had the means to truly make a difference in the lives of the amazing kids here in North Africa.

A good leader is someone who is constantly thinking about the interests of the people they lead. A good leader is not interested in getting fame or glory, they are simply interested in improving the quality of life for the people they lead. A good leader must be able to identify a problem, see how it impacts others, and then be able to mobilize them to affect a solution to the problem.

This site is amazing. I recently created an event and a web page on your site. I am able to browse through profiles of leader after leader. Essentially, anyone that takes the initiative to connect with others, must have some kind of leadership spark. When these kids and adults attempt to improve the lives of others through group mobilization and activity, it is a testament to the good that your site does.
