I’m passionate about connecting youth, enabling them to connect to each other and impact the world. As the Director of the Centre for Global Education, we partner over 10,000 students every year from every corner of the planet focusing on Peace and Global Education and Higher Level Learning and Research.

你希望通过你的教育创造什么样的未来？

I know it might sound cheesy but I believe that education is the key to changing the world. Education gives people the keys to creating the world they desire, opening their eyes to what they and the world can become. By connecting students, which is the whole vision of The Centre, we believe that we are creating a truly global classroom, where students see beyond their “four walls”. They see classmates in the town, province and country next door or on the other side of the world, as their equals and deserving of rights, freedom and a future.

Our students connect to partner schools from every corner of the globe. This year alone, we are working with students in Jordan, Pakistan, Brazil, Guatemala, Australia, New Zealand, etc, etc. Through using the website TakingITGlobal developed, integrated with Video Conferencing, our students are blogging, posting on the discussion boards, discussing face-to-face global issues on a weekly basis.

TIG is providing the platform that we use to facilitate all of our Asynchronous connections. It’s amazing!! Unlike anything else in the world!!
